A history maker in the First Citizens National Poetry Slam, Alexandra Stewart is the only three time Champion and the first person to win the competition consecutively. She is winner of the NGC Bocas Youth Writer Award 2023 and works relentlessly to improve her craft. Focused on reaching hearts, her prose and poems comment on social issues in creative and thought provoking ways. Performing both locally (Trinidad and Tobago) and internationally Alexandra's work has global appeal.
When she's not on stage, she's teaching the art of spoken word poetry, English Language and English Literature. Alexandra is always excited to share her expertise. She has been on 5 Youth Outreach Secondary School Tours performing for over 60,000 students across the Caribbean.
